Carry On Baggage

Each Customer is only allowed one Carry-on luggage with a maximum weight of 7kg (15.4 lbs.), and one additional personal item (such as a handbag, camera or digital device) onboard. BOTH items combined should not exceed the dimensions of 56 x 36 x 23cm (22" x 14" x 9"). Duty-free goods purchased after check-in will need to be within the size and weight limitations of the carry-on requirements stated above. Any items exceeding weight or size restrictions will have to be checked in, and fees will apply.

Pre-screening of excess carry-on baggage will be performed at the boarding gate to prevent excessive overhead bin loading. Any excess baggage will be charged according to airport counter fees. Please arrive at the boarding gate at least 1 hour prior to departure time to prevent any delays.

Due to limited space in the overhead lockers, you may still be required to check in your approved carry-on baggage at the boarding gate without any fees. Overhead lockers will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis, you are advised to line up for boarding earlier if you have any strong concern on this.

Tips

Cabin Baggage Restrictions on Liquids, Aerosols & Gels

Many countries have strict restrictions on the carriage of liquids, aerosols and gels in the cabin. These restrictions include:

• Liquids, gels and aerosols must be in containers with capacity of 100ml or less.
• Containers must be presented at security in a transparent, re-sealable plastic bag with maximum capacity not to exceed 1L.
• The plastic bag must be presented to security separately from other cabin baggage for examination at the security check point.

Cabin Baggage Restriction on powder- like substances (Applicable for flights to Saipan only)

• Substances exceeding 12 ounces or 350ml may only be carried in checked baggage.　Examples of substances that may be subject to scrutiny or restricted from carry-on include cosmetic powders, dry spices and protein powders.
• Substances such as baby formula, cremated human remains, and medically prescribed items are exempt, but may be subject to additional security screening.

Lithium Ion Batteries

Small Lithium batteries such as those used for Mobile phones, cameras, watches, portable music players and laptop computers are allowed under the following conditions.

In your cabin baggage

• Capacity is Under 100 Watt hours (Wh)
• Lithium content (LC) is under 2g
• Maximum of 20 pcs

In your Check in Baggage

• Must be inside equipment
• Maximum of 10 pcs
• Each piece under 160 Watt hours (Wh) or 2g of Lithium content
• Spare batteries are not allowed

Please note that non-rechargeable batteries with more than 2g of lithium (C size battery and above) are not allowed to be carried in any baggage and can only be carried as cargo.

Medium Lithium batteries such as those used to charge laptops, by professionals or for lifesaving equipment between 100-160 Watt hours (Wh) are allowed under the following conditions.

In your cabin baggage

• Stored inside equipment
• Stored properly in original packaging or with tape over the terminals
• Place in separate packaging

In your Check In baggage

• Capacity is within 160 Watt hours (Wh) or 2g
• Maximum of 10 pcs
• Stored within equipment
• Spare batteries are not allowed

For information regarding Large lithium batteries such as those found in mobility devices and industrial equipment are banned from baggage with the exception of batteries used for Wheelchairs or mobility devices.
